Can I get a car loan with bad credit?
Yes. We work with banks and credit unions that approve good, fair, bad and no-credit buyers, including first-time buyers. Approval isn't guaranteed and terms depend on the lender.
Does applying hurt my credit?
Filling out the application doesn't touch your credit. A lender only checks it after you sign the authorization at the end, and we shop several lenders at once so it counts as one inquiry.
Is my information safe?
Yes. The application is encrypted in transit, your Social Security number is encrypted at rest with a key only the dealership's finance manager can use, and nothing is shared beyond the lenders you authorize.
Can I use my own bank or credit union?
Absolutely — choose “my own lender” at checkout and we'll work with them.
How much down payment do I need?
It depends on your credit and the car. Many buyers put 10% down; some approvals need less. Your trade-in can count toward the down payment.
